Battle Point Astronomical Association (BPAA) operates Battle Point Observatory on Bainbridge Island. Our mission is to ignite passion for science through the lens of astronomy by creating opportunities for curious minds of all ages to experience the wonders of the universe.

Battle Point Observatory offers a range of volunteer opportunities! From helping with telescopes at community Star Parties, education events in our Planetarium, facilities and IT tasks, outreach, and more: there's a great place for your time & talents. Training provided. If you have an interest in astronomy or just enjoy stargazing, let us know and we'll get you connected at BPO.
